STEEL DETAILER
We are looking for a steel detailer and or draftsperson experienced using Prosteel, X-steel detailing software packages and or AutoCAD. The position is available at any of out NZ branches. Software training is possible should you have relevant practical experience in this industry and wanting to further your career. Strong communication skills are required for this position and attention to detail. A great position for a school leaver wishing to seek a career in this field or someone who has some experience and looking for a change.
WELDING INSPECTOR and or NDT TECHNICIAN, Ultrasonic, Phase Array, Radiography, Acoustic Emission Testing and Eddy Current testing.
This is a permanent position based in Christchurch working alongside a team of very qualified and experienced technicans.
CBIP qualifications at Level 2 or equavalent ie PCN, CSWIP or AINDT and Welding supervisor or Certified Welding Inspection including a trade or tertiary qualification is desirable along with up to 5 plus years experience are sought immediately.

Statutory Equipment Inspector - Nelson
Design Engineering was established in 1991 and has multiple branches around NZ. We are market leaders in our areas of expertise, providing professional calibration certification, compliance and consulting engineering services to many customers throughout NZ, Asia and the Pacific.
We are looking for an equipment inspector to fill a role in the Nelson branch as well as other branches throughout NZ.
Do you have one of more of the following skills and or experience:
- Statutory Equipment inspections – PECPR regulations i.e. cranes, boilers and pressure vessels.
- NDT (non destructive testing) and welding inspections, including welder qualification testing.
- IANZ signatory accreditation.
